چکیده

قهوه‌خانه‌ها یا کافه‌ها از مهم‌ترین پاتوق‌ها (مراکز تجمع افراد) در گذشته بودند.  علیرغم مطالعات زیاد اما اطلاعات درباره کافه‌های دور شهر بسیار اندک است. در پژوهش حاضر، این مراکز مهم تجمع و تفریح مردم در اصفهان، در دهه 1320ش، مورد بررسی و شناسایی قرارگرفته و تلاش خواهد شد با مراجعه به اسناد برجای مانده، فعالیت این کافه‌ها رصد شود. روش پژوهش، مطالعه بر یک بسته سند است که پس از بازنویسی و تحلیل سندها، روایت این کافه‌ها در حوزه زمانی و مکانی مورد مطالعه، بازگو خواهد شد. این کافه‌ها که خارج از محدوده شهری اصفهان قرار داشتند، محل تجمع و تفریح جمعی از مردم شهر بود که گاهی با اعمال منافی عفت، استعمال مواد مخدر و نیز مصرف مشروبات الکلی همراه بود. به دنبال مخالفت برخی از مردم شهر با فعالیت این کافه‌ها و درخواست از استانداری برای توقف فعالیت آن‌ها، ژاندارمری اصفهان پس از دستور استانداری، اقدام به تعطیلی آن‌ها می‌کند، اما صاحبان کافه‌ها به نامه‌پراکنی و ارسال شکوائیه مشغول و سرانجام یک سال بعد، موفق شدند مجدد کافه‌هایشان را فعال کنند.

Out-of-City Coffeehouses; their Essence and Challenges against City Ordinances (Case Study: Isfahan in the 1940s)

چکیده [English]

Coffeehouses or cafes have been the main rendezvouses or gathering places over the history. Some studies have dealt with out-of-city cafes, yet the information on them is little. Using the survived documents, this study tried to identify and introduce the main rendezvouses and recreation places of Isfahan in the 1940s. Documentary method was used to investigate a set of documents. After rewriting and analyze them, the stories about the cafes in the studied time and places are restated. The cafes that have been out of Isfahan’s residential area, have been the gathering and recreation places for the residents of the city. Such issues were common in the places as criminal activities, drug use, and alcohol consumption. People’s object to the criminal activities of the places and their request of the Directorate of the city to stop their activities, made the organization to close them. The owners of the places, however, started witting letters and setting complaints, and succeeded to restart their activities after a year.
